On April 15th , 2019 The City of Fairmont water department is repairing a main water line affecting Gilbob Street, Mary Lou Retton Drive., and the surrounding area.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If your service has had low water pressure, a loss of water, or discoloration of water, DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST.

Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Boiling your water kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.

Please contact the Water Treatment Plant at 304-366-1461 on April 16th , 2019 after 1:00pm to determine if the boil water advisory has been lifted.
